Shouldn't that read as follows:

Meanwhile, it works fine for me (with Gnu Emacs 20.7 and a recentish
BBDB 2.3 - not tried XEmacs) - it's very elegant and just what I
wanted - many thanks!

I feel a 'bbdb-make-net-address-at-point-obsolete' function coming
on...
