I'm not a programmer, so I can't help much, but here's a very small contribution to the BBDB documentation. I don't know anything about git, much less its integration into Emacs and Gnus, so I just ran "git format-patch -1," to generate what I've copy-and-pasted below. If there's a better way, please let me know!
