The only time I've had an issue with BBEdit crashing, it was either
because the file I was opening was extremely large or the prefs were
corrupted. In your case, I'm guessing deleting the prefs would fix it.
Obviously the app is very customizable, so when I get my prefs where
I like them, I just use "Create Archive" to zip a backup of them.
