Am I looking in the wrong place? Is there any other log file that
BBEdit might write to? Or that the system would write to?
Do console.log or system.log have anything pertinent to say?
Not that I could find. I removed (well, renamed) the Application
Support/BBEdit folder and also the plist files in Preferences/ and
there was no difference that I could see. I seriosuly doubt this is
a pref issue because, as I said, BBedit never actually launches.
I even tried to launch BBEdit then look for any changed files in ~/
Library or /var/log/ and could find nothing useful.
I have a website to update, so I'm going to need to do it on the laptop.

So the only mention of bbedit in /var/log/* is the sudo command I
used to search for any occurrence of 'bbedit'
Similar grep running on ~/Library found nothing of use (some adium
chats, some binary files, and such)
