You read the entire license agreements to every piece of software you
buy and install? B.S. Have you ever installed anything from
Microsoft? You'd need a friggin' attorney just to make heads or tails
of it.
If they restrict BBEdit to using it on only two machines
concurrently, they should tell you that BEFORE you buy it. Not after
you've purchased it, which is generally when the license is presented.
Instead, they're trying to hide this fact about their product.
However you fanboys want to spin it, it's sleazy not to be up front
about artificial restrictions you place in your product.
"Hey, I bought this car from GM. It doesn't say you can't go over 75
MPH, but since that's above the legal speed limit anyway, why should
they bother telling you? If you don't find out until you get the car
home, well, that's your own damn fault!"
