I cannot live without resource forks. The main reason I never use BBEdit for HTML files is that I style them in Tex-Edit Plus with the styles saved in the resource fork so that I can upload them as text, thereby having my cake and eating it too.

I know other people who do the same thing -- using TEP for HTML so that it can be styled to one's heart's content. It's one of the best features of the Mac.

who does use BBEdit for Perl, XML, etc. Just not for HTML. :-)
