You may wish to disable the options to remember font settings and to
save font settings until all your files are to your liking ("Text
Files" preference pane under the "Honor saved state" group, and the
"Save document state" option). Alternatively, you may wish to modify
or delete ~/Library/Preferences/com.barebones.bbedit.PreferenceData/Document
State.plistAs for the name of the preference panel, you should submit a suggestion. It's not easy to coherently squeeze so many options in so little space. I personally don't have a problem with the name, but I've been using BBEdit for a while. --bernie On 11/7/06, David Eves <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
Thanks bernie. Somehow, I don't associate tab setting with font selection. I changed the setting as you pointed out and new documents now Shift as I set it. And I discovered I need to use Cmd-T to invoke the Font chooser on each existing documents and set the tabs or the old setting persists. I wish the label on the "Editor Defaults" pane said "Default font and tabs" or some such.
