The persistent markers in local files and "move" with certain editing: + Paste text + Find and Replace These will cause markers to shift position. Embedding "tags", that is, unique markers that can be easily found, in the file are more reliable. In html files I use: <!--Marker--> -- Bill Santa Cruz, California
