Now that I've read the original thread from a few years ago (Steve
Samuels' post, below), I apologize for re-introducing this topic
without a thorough search of the archives. Mea bad.

As I understand the BBEdit official position, the inclusion of a
Search To End selection box in the Find dialogs would be counter to
their minimalist approach to dialog boxes. That's fine and I
appreciate it. At the same time I do believe that inclusion of this
particular option (Search to End) in the Find dialog boxes would not
irritate more than a handful of BBEdit users.

With one mental toe out of the box: How difficult would it be to allow
the user to customize his dialog boxes? Many applications allow you to
do this with other user interfaces. You can just drag the things you
want to the interface in question and they are there. Are dialog boxes
significantly different from other GUI elements?
