i wonder if this is related to my experience of having to click twice
to use html palette buttons? more than 50% of the time i have to click
once to get the palette's attention (he said, anthropomorphizing), and
then the second click works. the result is that i now click very
slowly and deliberately, hoping that will help... but also slowing me
down.

has anyone else noticed this?

thanks,
bruce
