Well Patrick, let me point out some differences: Point to a file on my hard 
drive and get a URL rather than a file path. The choice of type of 
addressing. Target is already completed for me. Access to recent URLs, 
Internal Anchors and Current Folder. I also use Default Folder X and 
LaunchBar which are intertwined with the process.

Prior to version 10 I've been satisfied with all previous versions of BBEdit 
at least until I found out that the ability to index my site with 2800 
objects had been removed.

I think Barebones should have anticipated this reaction and offered easy 
work arounds (transition processes) immediately on the first launch of the 
new version. 

My last comment on this subject. I have other things to do.
