Thank you for the tip -- I appreciate your help. In Keyboard > Shortcuts > Services > Open File in BBEdit (macOS 10.13.6), the box for that item was already checked and I created the shortcut Command-Option-O. When I highlight an .htm file and use the shortcut, though, the Finder window where the file is located closes and the file opens in Safari, not BBEdit. Maybe I am doing something wrong?
