Little known feature but easiest way to compare any two files in BBEdit :

1. Command-click select the two files you want to compare in the sidebar.
2. Right-click on any of them in the sidebar and in the contextual menu, 
select  the "Compare" menu item.

The two files will be presented side by side in the "Differences" window 
with synchro-scrolling and non-matching lines list.
