Tho the weather here (TX) is very nice now we had a week of cold,
icy rain. The pasture horses developed a pretty bad case of rainrot.
As they all have good winter coats, it's very slow to heal up. I know
rain rot is a fungus or infection that is basically an overgrowth of the
natural bacteria of the horse's own skin. My vet says it'll go away
on it's own but it's painful and I'd like to get them healed before the
next onslaught of winter comes along.

One of the Pasos delivered a filly last Sunday so Christmas came
a little early this year.
