Hi kiran,

Use format(datevalue, "dd/MM/yyyy") for displaying in dd/mm/yyy format.

dd- day
MM - represents month in jumbers
MMM - displays JAN, FEB
MMMM - displays January,Feb....
yy- represents last two digits of the year
yyyy - represents last four digits of the year

hh represents hour in 0 - 12
HH represents hour in 0 - 23
mm - minutes
ss - seconds
tt- for AM/PM

You can use any of this format string to form your own custome date formats.

You can also use what Bala has replied. But it will give u only predefined format.

With regards,

Krithika
