----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: SriBhagavan Message 2 in Discussion Hi, 1.A constant must be initialized at time of its creation.A readonly field can also be assigned in the class contructor. 2.Constant values are embedded in side the assembly after compilation.Any assembly referncing constant of other assembly, any change in constant value, both assemblies need to be recompiled. Basically,Constants are compile time constants.Where as Readonly fields are Runtime Constants.
