----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: niraj_ardent_bang Message 2 in Discussion Hi, Wrapping up BAL in CRUD facade doesn't look an attractive option. May be the same can be tried at DAL level. Let the BAL have business specific functions and UI communicate those. Don't try to impose patterns. That's when antipatterns show up. Interface based design is always preferable for flexibility, so you are right on that front. If you still want to go ahead with your design, you can consider Generics in .NET 2.0. That would give you a type safe rich design, with no performance overhead. All the best!!! Life is so beautiful!!! Success, Niraj. ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/bdotnet/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
