You mistake the nature of the BeagleBone Black.  It is explicitly not 
validated for commercial use, and all the drawings, documentation and so on 
have been made freely available so that you can have your own version built 
if you wish to use it commercially.  Hence the absence of TI's support - 
you have a board, and an OS, and a compiler and the rest is up to you.  
Hence also the $50 price.
