the more I think about this, the more I notice that I
have arrived at the discussion from the excess baggage
of having built/maintained/complainedAt 'build trains'
everything from the source code control system
right on through to the installed on the far host
with the documentation deployed.....
so I clearly need to step back, and regroup.....
