plan a) we get them to buy
3rd Edition of Perl Programming
make them read it cover to cover - in one sitting.
plan b) we keep stumping for our favorite perl tricks
plan c) we keep saying
perldoc <tokenHere>
plan d) we keep throwing up demonstration code....
plan e) we get them to visit the CPAN to see if their module
already exists in some form....

Well technically - given that I do my development in
my own
~/Projects/<YourFreakNessHere>/<sub_dirs_as_needed>
and to test it on remote OS's - I have to pick up the tarball,
and haul it over to the other machine - { have we talked about rdist yet?
}
and do the Voodoo There...
Hence the 'distribution' and 're-distribution' process occurs,
like code, it's a disease, it spreads, it infects....
and the more software tools you have to keep it at bay.....
