Have you tried anything?
open FILE, "tickers.txt" or die "can't read tickers.txt: $!";
chomp(my @sym = <FILE>);
close FILE;
Now you have @sym with the tickers. If you want to print it with commas
separating them and quotes around them...
print join("," => map "'$_'", @sym);
