Hi all, thanks for everyone's contribution to this small question. However, i now face this problem: After typing the following code:
($filename,$fileExtention)=fileparse($moofile, '\..*'); open (OUTFILE1, ">$filename_TEMP.LOG"); It didn't seem to work.. i tried printing the "$filename" and it works as we expected, but however when i try creating a new file like the above code with a $filename_TEMP, i can't seem to print/create them out? Why is this so? I tried printing "$filename_TEMP", nothing comes out; but if i were to print juz "$filename", the filename comes out smoothly. Pls advise?
