That is not the same kind of goto any more than exec {} is the
same as exec "". That form of goto is expressed as
"goto &subroutine" and I frequently use it. I've not used
a goto LABEL construct since I was writing BASIC programs
20 years ago (unless you count assembler, which you shouldn't).
