Most technical mailing lists do it the right way. They might insert a Mail-Followup-To: header field (but only if there isn't one already) pointing to the list. Mail clients should be able to handle reply-to-list (or "follow-up") as well as reply-to-sender (or "reply-to-author"). > I do know how to use my mail client and I in fact KNOW that the > feature you guys are referring to DOES NOT EXIST in my MUA. Maybe somebody already wrote an extension for it. I couldn't find a List-Reply extension for Thunderbird, but here are some other nice ones mentioned: http://software.newsforge.com/article.pl?sid=05/05/27/1752219 Also interesting: http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py?req=show&file=faq03.048.htp http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mung (munged itself) https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=29041 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=204339 https://addons.mozilla.org/thunderbird/1900/ https://addons.mozilla.org/thunderbird/576/ -- Affijn, Ruud "Gewoon is een tijger." -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <http://learn.perl.org/> <http://learn.perl.org/first-response>
