Eclipse and EPIC are the way to go. It's a little tricky to get it working for larger projects and include paths and stuff, but once you've figured it out, it's magic ( it's much faster than Komodo too ). Once you get EPIC working, try out subclipse, for subversion integration as well.

And to those who pooh-pooh the use of an IDE: grow up. Masochists can of course do whatever they want to themselves, but for people who are learning Perl, how about helping them out a bit, eh?
