Hi guys, some of you on list may be knowing me personally. Just joined the belenix-discuss list. Just been through the archives, it does seem a small volume list, but activity goes on. Hopefully, I can contribute, and perhaps more importantly, learn in the process.
I have been running a Linux based server for over five years now, on real life EHR (Electronic Health Record) deployment which is mission critical, and never had the guts to migrate to an OpenSolaris based system, mainly because of lack of hands on experience with OpenSolaris. Now, with about two years of playing around with SXDE and OpenSolris 2008.5 (not Belenix) confidence has grown. I have been toying with the idea of building "Indra", a server based fork/ implementation of Belenix itself. I would like to know, what guys in the Belenix development community think. It would be something like my old LFS (Linux From Scratch) build, using the Belenix live CD and associated development tools to get a server in place on an x86 platform. Everything to be built from source, right from scratch ... Bish
