Ok I finally have a completed install using the new script with -destroy and -reinit options:

Username: admin 992 blocks New Password: Re-enter new Password: passwd: password successfully changed for admin cannot mount '/opt': directory is not empty property may be set but unable to remount filesystem I have a feeling that the system won't boot now! -As I had a similar issue with the VM..... I can't install OpenSolaris onto that laptop as it doesn't have enough memory and overheats easily not to mention that standard boot off the OSol CD took 3 hours last time I tried :-( let's see what my VM does and then I'll switch as it's being parallel processed!
