Totally agree! > We have a good distro, the right intent, what is lacking is the right > infrastructure. Yes and no. The infrastructure to host SCM repositories is available on opensolaris.org. It just needs to be part of a project. I can set up a repository right away as part of the BOSUG project. However, I think it makes more sense to have a separate project for Belenix on opensolaris.org. We'd have to frame a project request and get it approved - which I know can be frustrating at times - but it might still involve less effort than setting up the whole thing from scratch ourselves. We will get a lot of things for free - the hosting setup, an opengrok search interface, a choice of SCMs (Mercurial or Subversion), etc. What do you guys think? Venky.
