OK.
Following Jamil's suggestion, I have added the directory structured
described in my previous mail at
/home/groups/b/be/bengalinux/htdocs/trans/gnome/2.12

at ssh.sourceforge.net

Anyone who the member of the project at
http://sourceforge.net/projects/bengalinux can write access to that
folder.

If you are not in the membership list and want to contribute, please get
a sourceforge user ID and get in touch with Jamil Ahmed
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

*nix users may use the scp utility to transfer files to that directory.
The syntax is

scp local.po
<username>@ssh.sourceforge.net:/home/groups/b/be/bengalinux/htdocs/trans/gnome/2.12/reviewed/remote.po

Windows users may use the WinSCP utility.
http://winscp.net/eng/index.php

The directory structure is visible online at
http://www.bengalinux.org/trans/gnome/2.12/

We would need a volunteer to machine translate all the PO files from
http://l10n-status.gnome.org/gnome-2.12/bn/ and upload them in the
machine_translated directory.
I can do that - but only from the next week, since I am not taking my
laptop to college this week since we are moving to a new hostel (and I
can't ssh from the college lab yet).

I'll be leaving on Monday morning, and under normal circumstances, I
will be returning on Saturday evening.

I am available on cellphone @ 919830190543

If anyone wants to SMS me free of charge, there is a web based interface
at
http://203.197.117.202/webcell/web2cell.asp

Thanks,
Sayamindu
