We have a very special artist in Holland that has offered to paint portraits for use in Berner Health fundraisers. He is a longtime Berner owner (Newfoundlands too), and as you can imagine, finding ways to help fund cancer research is a priority of his. He is a self-taught artist, which would be amazing enough. But he is legally blind and uses special tools in order to see to paint. But Willem has generously offered to donate other paintings for us to use in fundraisers, such as the Health Fund auctions, or other health raffles. If you have a great photo of your Berner, especially a cute puppy photo, and the photo is clear enough to see good details on the fur and eyes, Willem would like permission to use your photo for his paintings. You can probably email Willem a copy of the photo to see if it would suit his needs, but he will need an actual printed copy with good clarity for his work.
