Love them both! Started out with two Appaloosas in the early 1980's,
Josie and Yamaha, who we rode Western only and into the mountains for
week-long horse camping trips. Then came those beautiful black Tennessee
Walking Horses (the glide ride) who are all-purpose. For those who think
they are just 'show horses', these boys took us on many horse camping
trips (the trails are about 3' wide, straight down to the river, straight
up the mountain, no room for error), packed in deer and elk, took me to
shows (Western, bareback and Saddle Seat), and have tolerated all the
puppies and dogs over the years. I lost Zundap at 29 almost three years
ago. I still have Taco who was 32 in April, along with the "babies",
Bucky who is 17 (and was used for breeding until he was 10, now gelded)
and Bullwinkle who is 16. The puppies/big dogs run between their legs,
eat out of their grain buckets, play in their water trough, pull on their
tails, and these gentle boys just sigh and roll their eyes at me.

(PS - husband didn't want anyone to know he rode horses at first, being
a hard core motorcycle lover, so his first horse was named Yamaha so he
could honestly say he was riding his Yamaha; then came Zundap and
Bultaco :-)
