I personally haven't had dogs with this but friends have. Just remember that it can flare up again later, it may take more than one round of antibiotics to cure as well. I know here in the states there is a new test kit that tests for both Ehrlichiosis & Heartworm called "SNAP" not sure what the accronym stands for.
