Hi Gayle, Too bad we don't live closer, I have had a few dogs pull a fast one about being bathed. I have hot water plumped to the great outdoors, no cold well water for my dogs. I have had bucking broncos who back off and wrestle to get away acting like the world is falling. I just hang on, don't look them in the face, get alongside them, and using a gentle spray start at the shoulder, if needs be they have a restraining collar on them and we just get on with it. No fuss or upset on my part, I tell the dog (same rule for husbands) I am not arguing with them, this is not up for discussion so submit and lets get this over with. Next time around no trouble:-)
