ty - i wanted to name my first berner after the emperor tiberius. he came
from an h litter, so we used hircus for his h name - latin for goat. was
entirely appropriate, since he ate anything & was particularly fond of
flowers. alpenrose hircus ti caesar.

dickens - a christmas puppy born on 19 december. he came to me with the name
dickens & we registered him as alpenrose charles dickens.

bark - we did figure that the little brown dog needed a long name too. so,
based on his nickname that one of our friends gave him, he is formally shire
bark-a-lounger.

muffin - she came to us with the name raspberry & i really did intend to
call her razzy (honest suzanne!). she was registered as alpenrose farms
raspberry. she was from an r litter.

zel - we had a theme of guys & babes with this litter since the sire was
renegade & the dam, babe. since i got the only girl, i think we did get cut
a little slack. she is neu-rodes wild thing & lives up to it every day.
