Not sure how your house is built but when I built mine and my parents built theirs, we both put in hidden trash cans that slide in and out - they look like part of the cabinets but you pull it out and there is trash can inside. Getting that cabinet open (it is on rollers) has never been a thought of my dogs - at least not one they have implemented. The most fun is watching humans try to find it :) Can you get one built into your existing cabinets?
