I think it is presumptuous of us to assume the questions people ask us about our dogs are stupid. Everyone can not be expected to know about BMDs. They ask because the dogs are striking, and people are curious about them when they see them. There are many things many of us do not know about, let's not assume that people who don't know about BMDs are any less informed in general than we are.
