It would seem worth trying to activate on your BES before moving them to the
hosted service.

Subject: [Bes-admins] Interesting policy question

We have some users in a hosted environment. Usually all the questions are about
removing policies from devices. In this case the host can't do a custom policy.
We have customized policies in place on our internal BES, is there a way to put
one of these policies on the hosted devices without impacting the encryption?
Also, the host does not send out the default policy after the device is
activated so we are not concerned about that overwriting our improved policy.
Any ideas are welcome.
