The Operations area is considering chartering the Onions working group
(draft charter at
https://github.com/boucadair/WG-Charters/blob/main/onions.md). That
group is bringing together work from a number of different places. The
current expectation (as captured at
https://github.com/boucadair/WG-Charters/blob/main/onions-impact.md) is
tht while the LxSM work will move to Onions, the LxNM work being more
device dependent will stay in its current homes.
Given the need for coordination between the levels of models, I was
asked to call BESS' attention to this evolution. If you see any issues
or concerns, please bring them up on the onions list.
