I'm involved in a support group for newly blind men and women to mentor and help with whatever I can do to assure them, there is life after loosing one's sight. It does make it tough when transportation and/or other services are not available. I am on cable wifi, yes I am online a lot cause well I love it, and being alone it offers some communication entertainment,etc. However, I do have a life outside these walls. I attend church, a group for the aged to bring them a friendly face, someone to chat to and to share some cookies with, my town home just voted me as one of their board members, we are having a christmas party this coming tuesday night, the support group I already mentioned ishaving a party on the 14th. I am as they say, retired, so this is how I give back and help. I do have transportation here which is a huge help.
