I agree. This wasn't exactly an ice injury, but pretty close. One cool,
damp, fall morning I went to get my mail, and as I sttepped on to my porch
while wearing slippers. as soon as my slipper made contact with the gloss
painted, dew laden porch, my foot kept going, and I did a split, I ended up
with a fractured ankle.
When a gloss painted, or waxed surface gets wet, it's almost as dangerous
as ice.

Yes it is very slippry. every thing has about 1 inch of ice
on it. Walking is very dangerous .
