Dear Mr Raj

Here is a workaround for extending the number of portfolios. It is
perhaps cumbersome, but you may decide that it is better than nothing.
I am not BC's developer, so it is the best that I can suggest.

BC is currently capable of looking at 20 portfolios x 40 stocks per
portfolio = 800 stocks. That is a large enough analysis task, studying
800 stock charts. Within that framework, you could have a good cross
section of `blue chip' right through to `penny' stocks, to choose from.

However, if you really want to move beyond 800 stocks, here is my
suggested workaround:

The portfolios are stored in the C:\M-C\ folder on your PC, in files
named List1.csv, List2.csv, List3.csv, up to List20.csv, for
portfolios #1 to #20, respectively. There is also a `master' file
named ListName.csv

1. Calculate the number of portfolios you will need, considering each
portfolio will hold a maximum of 40 stocks.

2. Create folders underneath C:\M-C\ named something like `Portfolios
1-20', `Portfolios 21-40', `Portfolios 41-60', etc, as many as you
need. (Thus each folder is capable of holding 20 portfolios x 40
stocks per portfolio = 800 stocks).

3. Create the stocks in portfolios 1-20, then MOVE the files
List1.csv, List2.csv, List3.csv, up to List20.csv, and also
ListName.csv into the folder C:\M-C\Portfolios 1-20

4. Then create the stocks in portfolios 21-40, then MOVE the files
List1.csv, List2.csv, List3.csv, up to List20.csv, and also
ListName.csv into the folder C:\M-C\Portfolios 21-40

5. Repeat step 4 for the next 20 portfolios, as often as necessary.

All of the above is a one-time set-up task.

Now, when you wish to run an analysis on portfolios 1-20, COPY the
files from C:\M-C\Portfolios 1-20 into C:\M-C, and then run your analysis.

When you wish to run an analysis on portfolios 21-40, COPY the files
from C:\M-C\Portfolios 21-40 into C:\M-C, (i.e. overwriting portfolios
1-20), and then run your analysis.

And so on.

By doing it this way, the `original' copies of the files in the
sub-folders are safe from being overwritten. If you wanted to, you
could create additional folders, to make further backup copies.

This seems cumbersome, but if you are a computer programmer, or have a
good file manager that allows you to write macros for copying/moving
files etc, all of these steps could be totally automated.

Otherwise, you will need to wait for the developer to address your
request.
