Personally, I do not have a problem with putting the tracks in a single
directory, but for the sake of accuracy, J River's Media Center, does in
fact handle all those criteria and even customized tags in a browsable
hierarchical fashion. Maybe, it could provide ideas for future versions
of Slimserver.
