Slimserver just froze half way throgh a track. There was nothng unusual about what I was playing. I'd just selected two albums (both with the same names) with the remote and was playing them shuffled. The music stopped half way through the third track. The remote control were totally unresponsive, as was the web gui. I stopped SlimServer from the tray icon but it would not start up (just reported "starting"). In Windows Services the service was reported as stopping (i.e. out of sync with what the tray icon was reporting).
To get it going again I had to kill the slim.exe process and then restart the service. This seems important (it is the 16th after all!). It is also the second day in a row that Slimserver has died and failed to restart. MC -- ModelCitizen Why does it always happen to me?
