Managed to use the Net-UDAP tool to configure a SBR via my Mac Powerbook - connected to it directly to configure, set up the various parameters then restarted and all was well !
Download svn from here http://homepage.mac.com/martinott/ and you are set to follow the instructions exactly as on Robin's pages...
