Henk- if there is a problem with a firmware booting on your controller,
you can hold vol+ on your controller to boot to the previous one (two
firmwares are stored in flash, the current and the previous). So even
if we pushed out firmware that didn't work at all, your hardware is not
bricked.

If we were to put out something in beta software that would literally
destroy your hardware, I'm quite sure we'd take steps to replace that
hardware. That has _not_ happened here.

I don't understand your question about "who helping who"...if you are
using beta software, you get to preview new features with the caveat
that sometimes things might not work. Further, if you choose to
communicate issues in beta software, that helps us toward producing a
quality official release. So yes, you are helping us. Am I
misunderstanding your question?

BTW, Doing the final testing on the fix for the reboot issue you
reported. If I can boot successfully a few more times, we'll kick off a
new nightly and r3330 will be replaced with a newer version shortly.

cheers,
#!/ben
