Michael, I had not previously installed it onto my WHS server ever. I am getting exactly the same symptoms as Gareth.
Just to recap: Error for squeezesvc seems to prevent the service from being installed at all. SqueezeSQL service is installed. WHS Addin is reported as available not installed after install attempt. SC seems to start but SC home page wont render properly but when Classic view is selected the home page does appear to start but doesn't function very well. Any suggestions would be helpful, if there's any other data I can provide, please let know.
