i'm excited to try the 7.4 using sqlite, but won't until 7.3.3 goes
official.

if some fraction of people need/want full mysql support, could that not
be implemented as a downloadable extension/plugin rather than built into
the core?

memory usage and footprint is important to me, and i didn't know about
that list of command line switches andy mentioned that reduce it... is
that the complete list? how do i use it in windows? how would i use it
on an infrant NAS?

so i take it there will be a 7.4 prior to a new schema version,
presumably 8.0?
