i'm excited to try the 7.4 using sqlite, but won't until 7.3.3 goes official.
if some fraction of people need/want full mysql support, could that not be implemented as a downloadable extension/plugin rather than built into the core? memory usage and footprint is important to me, and i didn't know about that list of command line switches andy mentioned that reduce it... is that the complete list? how do i use it in windows? how would i use it on an infrant NAS? so i take it there will be a 7.4 prior to a new schema version, presumably 8.0? -- MrSinatra www.lion-radio.org using: sb2 & sbc (my home) / sbr (parent's home) - w/sc 7.3.3b - win xp pro sp3 ie8 - 3.2ghz / 2gig ram - 1tb wd usb2 raid1 - d-link dir-655 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ MrSinatra's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2336 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=63346 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list beta@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
