The in-laws were down recently. They just wanted to be woken up to LBC News.
I set up an alarm for them, and the music came on, but after half an hour it
stopped. It wasn't what they were expecting for a live radio station - once
it's playing, they may naturally expect the odd few seconds of interruption,
but it should continue to play until turned off.

There must be some solution. It should be able to tell the difference between
a socket disconnect and commands issued to Squeezebox Server (eg. Power
Off/Stop/Pause).

The wireless link between player and server is resilient, I believe - i.e. if
the microwave causes wifi disruption, the radio station will resume when the
wifi link comes back? And yet if the server loses connection to the source, it
gives up.
