This might be a dumb question, but can someone confirm if 3rd party applets are supposed to get wiped from the controller everytime a new firmware is installed? The IR applet I use for controlling my amp lives in /usr/share/jive/applets/CAudioIR and with the daily firmware update the directory gets emptied, although the directory itself isn't deleted.
Is there something I can do to stop this happening? Am I putting it in the wrong place? Can I change rights to make the files a bit more tenacious?
