I wonder why the external scanner.exe hasn't been done away with by now. Andy?
Can't you just go beck to clearing all of the database tables and then launch the internal new & changed scanner? It might have been nice to be able to continue using the database during a clear/rescan while the external scanner creates an entirely new one, but it isn't really necessary, especially since the new & changed scans work so well. All previous versions of SbS actually wipe the working database, so nobody is going to miss that functionality.
